Staying up late to catch fireflies is a favorite summer pastime for our household. Recently, they've decided it's even more fun to capture them and take them to bed for the night...they call it their "natural" night light. However, that practice may be reconsidered as last night they each went to bed with three bugs in their containers and, when they woke up, they had all escaped!! Good thing Audra didn't know that when she came over for a Wii party tonight!!

Catching lightening bugs was one of my favorite summer activities as a kid. We never got to take them inside though. You are such a cool mom.
