I think God has his hand in everything...even when it comes to bringing the perfect pet to the perfect family. Here is a good example...I hate putting away laundry and (unless I know someone is coming over) will ALWAYS have full laundry baskets out in the dining room. And, it appears that Skittles preferred sleeping destination is...what else...a full laundry basket! See! We're a perfect match for each other!

I made this bag for Addy to match one I made myself...its supposed to be a purse but she's just been using it as a tote to carry Skittles in! And he's so easy going, he doesn't seem to mind! And, if you look close, you can see the hole where her tooth used to be...she lost her seventh tooth last week!

Duncan's first fair!! And, aside from the sweltering heat, he has loved it...especially the food! He only wishes he had more teeth!

Since the first moment Brian heard the words "you have a son" he's been dreaming of this day...the day he could sign his son up for football. When he went to sign him up and get his gear, the guy handing out the "armor" (that's what Keith calls his helmet and pads) asked "So, lets see, let me guess...he's going into second grade?" Brian corrected him and told him that he's actually just starting Kindergarten this year. Somewhat shocked of his size, the coaches reply was "Oh, he'll definitely be playing the line then". Now, that doesn't mean a whole lot to me, but it was definitely a proud moment for Brian.

So...now you'll know what we'll be doing on our fall weekends!

Staying up late to catch fireflies is a favorite summer pastime for our household. Recently, they've decided it's even more fun to capture them and take them to bed for the night...they call it their "natural" night light. However, that practice may be reconsidered as last night they each went to bed with three bugs in their containers and, when they woke up, they had all escaped!! Good thing Audra didn't know that when she came over for a Wii party tonight!!

Here we are halfway through the year and it appears that Duncan is over half Addy's size!! I can't wait to see how he measures up to her in the 52nd week!
